Kindermusic is a pre instrumental class for children to experience rhythm and sound before they encounter instruments and uses games and challenges to help children interact with music.

Dean Spanley

Based on a little-known 1936 novella by the Irish author Baron Dunsany, Dean Spanley stars Jeremy Northam as Fisk, an Edwardian publisher who is exasperated by his cantankerous father, played by Peter O'Toole in a dotty yet powerful performance. Fisk's older brother was killed in the Boer war and his mother died of a broken heart soon after, but Fisk Sr refuses to grieve. A charming family comedy particular suited for the older generation.

Adult Ceramics Classes

Ceramics Adult Class May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, June 9th and June 23rd

Adult ceramic classes for beginners and intermediate exploring hand building with Ceramicist Kevin McCann. Participants will develop objects for firing and glazing and will be offered an opportunity to display their work in the Dunamaise. This is a 6 week course with gaps to allow for firing and glazing.

To mark 21 years at the top she is doing a series of special concerts where she will be joined by her good friends, legendary Irish country singer Larry Cunningham and the ever popular John Hogan.

Love Letters

A.R. Gurney's Love Letters chronicles the relationship between Andy and Melissa solely through their correspondence. The play tells the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd and Melissa Gardner, whose poignantly funny friendship and ill-fated romance takes them from second grade through adolescence, maturity, and into middle age.

A smash hit both off and on Broadway, Love Letters features well known TV actors Bryan Murray (The Irish RM, Brookside, Fair City) and Una Crawford O'Brien (Fair City).

Madam Silk

The winds of time blow through a room and awaken Madam Silk with all her memories, dreams and fantasies. Three performers, working with fabric, music and video projection, present a haunting, visually stunning piece where the aerialists dance both in the air and on the ground using circus skills on fabric and hoops. Fidget Feet is Ireland's foremost Aerial Dance Theatre Company and creates spectacular indoor and outdoor work. It has become renowned internationally as a creative organisation that stretches the boundaries between several arts forms, combining aerial skills with contemporary circus while creating theatre fused with aerial dance, music and video art. The show is highly recommended for all ages and the company will also hold a workshop for interested groups on the day before the performance.

A funny and touching portrait of gay life in Ireland over the last 40 years written and performed by Myles Breen (Fair City) Bottom Dog Theatre Company is based in Limerick and was recently nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award.

Beauty and the Beast

Pupils of Scoil Bhríde Primary School perform their musical version of the classic children's tale Beauty and the Beast. A curse is placed on a young prince after he insults an old enchantress and he is transformed into an ugly beast. Only when he learns to love someone and earn their love in return will the spell be broken. Despair fall on the castle and on all who live there until the arrival of a beautiful girl who is searching for her father who has been imprisoned by the beast. Will she be the one to break the spell?

Redmond O'Toole

Redmond O'Toole (8-string classical guitar) will perform new arrangements of Irish traditional music alongside classical Irish works from the 19th century by Mauro Giuliani.

Selected as the National Concert Hall 2009 rising star and appearing regularly as a guest of The Chieftans around the world, Redmond O'Toole is the first to adapt to Paul Galbraith's 8-string guitar, played in the position of a cello, which allows him an extension of range, colour and repertoire. Redmond has played in many Irish venues and festivals and in Germany, The Netherlands, USA and Mexico and will play in the beautiful surroundings of Stradbally Hall in Stradbally, with thanks to the Cosby family.
