Her blog Sitting on The Fourth Wall covers all things theatre and performance related, including "reviews, news, interviews, and musings". Saoirse's writing is entertaining to read and brilliantly informed, making her a trustworthy source for performance recommendations and reviews. Pat Byrne is a visual artist based in Ireland, from Laois, and blogging about his practice, upcoming exhibitions, residencies, workshops etc. in his blog: Pat Byrne Visual Artist. A great blog to give you an inisght about an Artist at work in Laois and beyond. Pat exhibited in Dunamaise Gallery in January and February of 2016 with his show "Beneath the Dock Leaf". We were very taken with his evocative use of shadow and skill as a painter. Pat's pieces are intricate and masterful, with such depth that you could almost dive in...IF you are adventurous enough to enter his world where folklore meets contemporary life.
