This is the page for classes, workshops, seminars, photos, info and lots of different things. We will update this page as often as we can but call us to check on any new activities. See our projects page to keep up to date on our activities in schools and with groups and clubs.

Dear BookClubbers
We will be taking a break for the summer to enjoy the long evenings and no doubt you will all be reading away in gardens and on patios and I hope you can recommend some great reads when we regroup in September. We will announce the Autumn dates in our new brochure and online but email niamh@dunamaise.ie to join our bookclub list for text reminders and book lists.

Childrens Art Classes
Fun art and crafts classes running all year round. Children can explore and experiment with paint, clay, construction and seasonal crafts activities.
We will take a list of 8-10yr olds who would like to take part and should we get sufficient numbers we will run the same weeks and times on Wednesdays.

the elevenses club
Our Elevenses Film club screens silver screen blockbusters from years gone by. We have shown Breakfast at Tiffanys, White Christmas and Some like it Hot, to name a few. Join us for our next screenings listed below.

We enjoy the film and then have tea, coffee and biscuits afterwards to chat about the film and meet friends, a really relaxed way to spend a morning and all for €6/5 All Welcome
adult ceramic class
Kevin McCann will hold another ceramics class in the Dunamaise this Spring. The class is open to all levels, from total beginners to intermediates as each person works at their own speed under Kevin’s guidance. The class is for 2 hrs a week and all materials are included, just wear old clothes or an apron and get ready to hand build, slab and coil your way to finished pieces ready for firing and glazing in Kevin’s own kiln.
Starts May 6th Wed 7.30-9.30 and runs for 6 sessions over 8 weeks (gaps to allow for drying and firing)
€110 very limited capacity
