We are seeking Front of House staff, on a flexible, casual basis to fulfil functions across all activities and events in Dunamaise Arts Centre.
You will ideally be a person with a passion for all things arts and entertainment, as well as having a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent customer service!
You will report to the Front of House Manger or other such person as assigned by the Director. You will be working alongside the Front of House team, Admin staff and volunteers.

Front of House Events Team
We require warm, enthusiastic people to join our Front of House events team to cover:
Front of House Deputy Manager, Event Ushers, Bar Work and casual roles to support our current staff, relating to event Box Office support, customer service, promotion of events and general cleaning, along with any event associated duties as required; providing a professional, pleasant, efficient, informed and welcoming service.
You will be required to report to and assist the FoH Manager, the Box Office Manager or core staff members on duty. As well as Front of House tasks, you may be asked to provide support with other tasks, for example; to administer ticket sales, cash handling and reconciliation as well as reception and support administration across programming and accounts.
You will be asked to undertake tasks that support the Marketing and Promotion of events. You will be required to familiarise yourself with our current programme, and be able to discuss events. Other tasks will include updating displays of marketing materials. Promotions of events locally via distribution of marketing materials.
This list is not exhaustive. Staff may also be required to assist across wider Centre activities. Assignment to areas is at the discretion of management. Training will be provided where agreed necessary.

- The nature of working at an events venue requires flexibility to work later hours, across weekends and across a range of Centre activities

- Be self-motivated and reliable; displaying a high degree of initiative
- The position is for flexible casual staff and work will involve reasonable availability for night time and weekend attendance
- Most FOH event shifts start at 7pm and finish at 11pm however, availability during the day and at other times will sometimes be required, as rostered
- Overtime shall not be paid. Hours of work will be rostered monthly by your Line Manager or such other person as assigned by the Director
- Dunamaise Arts Centre reserves the right to alter the hours of work for this post from time to time, and cannot guarantee regular hours
- All hours worked will be subject to and recorded in accordance with the provisions of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 and the Organisation of Working Time Act (Regulations) 2001
- The post holder will report to the Front of House Manager of Dunamaise Arts Centre or such other person as assigned by the Director
- Appointment is subject to receipt of satisfactory references and training throughout a trial period by Dunamaise Arts Centre
