Welcoming back audiences to Dunamaise in Autumn 2021

We have missed you and are delighted to welcome you back as restrictions are lifted in phases over the season ahead. We want to ensure you feel safe to do so and you can once again enjoy performances, screenings and workshops here during your visit.

Below is a guide of what to expect on your visit to Dunamaise. Staff will be happy to help explain anything or direct you – PLEASE just ask!

From 6th September, 2021, in compliance with new Government guidelines:

  • Visitors are asked to follow staff instruction and the signage in relation to capacity limits, social distancing and queue spacing throughout the building.
  • We will operate a reduced capacity of 60% in the auditorium, using the remaining seating to leave space between groups of audience members for your comfort.
  • At this time, adult audience members must show on arrival either a/ valid C19 vaccination Cert and ID, or, b/ Proof of recovery from Covid within the past 6 months and ID. Your Cert will be scanned to prove valid. (NOTE: This can be 7-14 days after vaccination #2, depending on type).
  • Tickets should be booked in advance if possible, either online or through the Box Office.
  • Seating can be selected online for upto 2 people, or via the box office for larger groups (3 to 6 people max) and just for the people you are happy to sit beside (your household/friend group (6 max).
  • Our box office team will help allocate or adjust seating as required to keep some social distancing between parties. Patrons with any specific access or seating requirements are welcome to book through the Box Office on 057 866 3355 and staff will be happy to assign specific requested seat locations, pending availability.
  • Please use contactless payment / tap your card to pay if possible. Card payments can also be taken over the phone.
