Welcoming back audiences to Dunamaise in Spring 2022!

Updated Government Public Health Measures regarding COVID-19 restrictions have come into effect. Latest update 4 February 2022. For Dunamaise Arts Centre and our patrons, this means…

We continue our commitment to the comfort, health and safety of our patrons, artists and staff members alike.

The latest Government announcements removed restrictions. However, we encourage the continued wearing of face masks when visiting the arts centre; hand sanitation stations remain at various points around the arts centre for your use and touchable surfaces continue to be sanitised regularly.

If a performance is not entirely sold out, we will continue to leave as much vacant seating between parties as possible, to give additional comfort to customers.

Patrons with Covid symptoms/contacts are asked not to attend. Instead, speak to the Box Office on 057 8663355 to arrange account credit/refund as relevant.

  • We can now operate at 100% of venue capacity.
  • There is no longer an 8pm curfew.
  • There is no longer a vaccination entry criterion.
  • Social distancing is no longer enforced, but we strongly encourage leaving space where possible for the comfort of all.
  • If an event is not entirely sold out, we will continue to leave as much vacant seating between parties as possible, to give additional comfort to our patrons.
  • We encourage the continued wearing of face masks when visiting the arts centre. Facemasks are available to purchase at cost price from Box Office or café, should you need one.
  • Tickets can still be booked in advance if possible, either online or through the Box Office. Please use contactless payment / tap your card to pay if possible. Card payments can also be taken over the phone.
  • Our box office team will help allocate or adjust seating as required to keep some distancing between parties. Patrons with any specific access or seating requirements are welcome to book through the Box Office on 057 866 3355 and staff will be happy to assign specific requested seat locations, pending availability.
  • You will find hand sanitation stations at various points around the arts centre for your use.
  • We will continue our strict cleaning policy throughout the Arts Centre. Touchable surfaces are sanitised regularly.
  • The Box Office reception desk, theatre bar, Caffe Latte counter and Laois Tourism Info Desk will keep protective screens in place. Staff will continue wearing PPE for their and your protection and safety.

Some areas/facilities within the arts centre, including the Internet Cafe, will remain closed for the time being. Bar service resumed mid-February.

Dunamaise Arts Centre will continue to adhere to updated Government guidelines on all matters throughout the season, adapting to changes as they may occur. We will inform our customers if any changes affect bookings or attendance at events here.

If you or a member of your party have any Covid-19 symptoms, as per HSE Guidelines, please rearrange your visit for a later date. Dunamaise Arts Centre will facilitate exchanges or refunds for symptomatic ticket holders OR for those effected by any further events cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19.

The above measures are based on latest Government Guidelines.
