Held at the Dunamaise Arts Centre, on the last Tuesday of each month, the event provides a welcoming, professionally run platform for artists at every stage of their creative journey — from first-time performers to experienced writers. Unlike many open mics, Spotlight Sessions is strictly original work only. The emphasis is on creation, craft, and authentic expression rather than covers or replication. There is no registration or audition process. Performers simply arrive, sign up on the night, and take the stage when called.
