Information & Guidelines

Dunamaise Arts Centre: Opened in May 1999 and comprising an exhibition gallery, a 240 seat theatre, cinema, workshop spaces and a café, Dunamaise Arts Centre hosts the best in national and international performing and visual arts. We regularly host professional development seminars and networking events for visual artists.

In 2020-2021, in response to Covid-19 related restrictions, we are adjusting from our role to date as primarily a receiving-house, to an ambitions and more adaptable range of artists and audience connections. We're offering more artist residencies, bursaries, commissions and other professional development supports, as well as a range of online showcases, exhibitions, podcasts and streaming of film and live staged performances.

We see this annual Open Submission Exhibition as a season highlight and an opportunity to further promote and strengthen the connectivity and collaboration of the vibrant visual arts community in the Midlands and beyond.
