Co. Galway, 1975. In the village of Glanaphuca, locals - including barwoman Peggy - are preparing for an influx of out-of-towners for a busy fishing weekend. The mood abruptly changes, however, when a woman’s body is discovered in the local lake. When Dublin detective Frank Ryan arrives to investigate, he and Peggy work together to solve the mystery and uncover some unsettling local secrets.
