International touring Galway based DJ Shampain brings an Irish silent cinema classic ‘Irish Destiny' back to life with a new soundtrack, mixed live as the film is screened in Dunamaise.
Released in 1926 to mark the tenth anniversary of the 1916 Rising, 'Irish Destiny' is a dramatic re-telling of Ireland's struggle for independence.
Having tackled silent classics such as ‘Nosferatu' and 'Faust' (As part of the Bram Stoker Festival) as well as one closer to home 'Man of Aran', DJ Shampain's takes on silent cinema has gained traction on a wider scale and is a truly unique audio visual experience!
