Our 80s, 90s and 00s Silent Headphone Disco is the party people talk about on Monday. Guests slip on the silent headphones, hit a button, and drop straight into the soundtrack of their teens. Channel one is pure 80s: Madonna, Wham!, Michael Jackson, the hits that still fill a floor. Channel two is 90s chaos: Spice Girls, Oasis, Boyzone, Britney. Channel three is 00s anthems, from the Cheeky Girls to the club classics everyone swears they have forgotten.

That is the brilliant bit. Castles, hotels, marquees and back gardens with a noise curfew can keep going long after a normal DJ would be switched off. Granny can waltz to a slow set while the cousins lose it to Mr. Brightside, and nobody argues about the playlist.
