Chess Classes

Revolutionizing chess in Ireland with technology.

Starting Tuesday, May 27, 2025, we'll have classes every Tuesday:

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Note: 10th June there will be no class as the trainers are participating in a tournament.
These classes are suitable for children aged 10 and above who have some prior chess experience. This includes students who:

Know how to move and capture pieces.
Are familiar with the basic rules of the game.
Have played chess in their school.
Important Information:Limited Capacity: We have limited spots available for these classes. Once full, entries will close.
Reserve Your Spot: To secure your child's place, please make your payment prior to the first class.
Student Selection: We reserve the right to select students at our discretion to ensure the best learning environment for all participants.

Meet Tarun

Tarun Kanyamarala is a Chess International Master. He won the Irish Championship in 2022. He is the youngest International Master in Irish Chess History. In 2022 he made his Olympic debut. He has won several tournaments in Ireland. His goal is to become Ireland’s first-ever homegrown Chess Grand Master and Make Chess a recognized Sport in Ireland!

Meet Trisha

Trisha Kanyamarala is a Chess Women International Master. She won the Irish Women’s Championship in 2022. She is the first Women International Master in Irish Chess History. Just like her brother she aspires to become a Chess Grand Master and Make Chess a recognized Sport in Ireland!
Through her involvement with ICTL, she aims to inspire and empower girls to embrace the game of chess.
