Photographing your Artwork

Terry Conroy is an associate of the Irish Photographers Association. Terry will demonstrate live and talk about photographing your art.

If you are an artist and have spent a great deal of time lovingly creating from your imagination to a finished piece, you need to create an image of this to accurately show the colours, textures and size. This image can then be used in print and on social media as well as for professional submissions.

To do this you need to have a basic understanding of focal length, light temperature, light direction, aperture and shutter speed.

Terry will be giving a talk on method, equipment and simple processing in Dunamaise Arts Centre
