Producing is a big job, from funding applications to hiring to insurance, plus the creative work of bringing ideas to life. It’s also a role that offers infinite variety and constant new challenges.This workshop by Rose Producing will break down the role and responsibilities of producing in the performing arts from project planning to final reporting. This will include thinking about audiences, finances, and communications.Heather Rose has over 20 years' experience working in the arts, including theatre, dance, puppetry and outdoor arts, on projects in small rural schools, venue tours, and festivals. This event is suitable for self-producing artists or emerging producers working in the performing arts (theatre, dance, music, circus).
