A Young Curators Festival
LASTA
LASTA 2026 at Dunamaise Arts Centre
This September, Dunamaise Arts Centre is delighted to be part of LASTA 2026, a national youth-led festival celebrating fresh ideas, contemporary creativity and new voices in the arts.
Across visual art, professional development and immersive performance, Dunamaise presents three exciting events as part of this year’s programme.
apple spider fork is a contemporary visual art exhibition bringing together Irish artists working across a range of mediums. Exploring how images, symbols and visual language shape our understanding of the world, the exhibition reflects on digital culture, shifting meanings, humour, irony and the constant circulation of images.
Self-Producing for Artists, by Rose Producing, is a practical workshop for self-producing artists and emerging producers. Led by Heather Rose, the session explores the realities of producing in the performing arts, from project planning and funding to audiences, finances, communications and reporting.
All My Friends are in Australia, by LEGROOM Collective, is an immersive and interactive performance exploring friendship, distance and the choices facing young adults deciding whether to stay in Ireland or leave. Part yoga class, spin session, karaoke night and quarter-life crisis, Trudy invites audiences into her vibrant and wonderfully unpredictable world.
Join us at Dunamaise for LASTA 2026 and experience three very different perspectives on contemporary Irish creativity, performance and visual culture.
